Saying #22 — Never Exalt a Fool
π Proverbs 24:7
“Wisdom is too high for a fool;in the gate he does not open his mouth.”
πΏ INTRODUCTION — A Call to Discernment
Women of Wisdom, today Lady Wisdom invites us to the ancient city gates — the place where leaders gathered, justice was discussed, and the wise offered counsel.
This proverb is gentle but firm.
It reminds us that not every voice deserves influence,
not every personality carries wisdom,
and not every opinion should enter the gates of our hearts.
Saying #22 teaches us one powerful truth:
Wisdom is lifted when foolishness is lowered.
A wise woman learns to choose her voices, her counsel, and her influences with care.
πΌ MEANING OF THE SAYING
⭐ 1. “Wisdom is too high for a fool.”
Wisdom requires humility, teachability, and reverence for God.
The fool rejects all three.
So the heights of wisdom remain out of reach — not because God withholds it,
but because the fool refuses to climb.
⭐ 2. “In the gate he does not open his mouth.”
The gate was the place of leadership, counsel, and decision-making.
The fool stands there silently — not humbled, but empty.
Nothing he says can guide, protect, or build.
This is why elevating foolish voices brings confusion, not clarity.
⭐ 3. The warning for us:
A wise woman guards three gates:
the gate of her mind
the gate of her mouth
the gate of her friendships
You cannot walk in wisdom while exalting foolishness — in yourself or in others.
π A MINI-SCENE — “The Council at the Gate”
Four women sit in a courtroom called The Council at the Gate, where a vote will be taken to decide whether Folly Son-of-Noise should be appointed as advisor.
Lady Wisdom presides.
π Woman 1 (quiet, steady):
“His voice is loud but empty. He speaks much but learns nothing.
Wisdom says, ‘Not every talker is trustworthy.’”
π Woman 2 (thoughtful):
“He twists truth. He mocks what he doesn’t understand.
Giving him influence would bring confusion.”
π Woman 3 (warm):
“He is entertaining, yes — but entertainment is not guidance.
I can’t follow a voice that plays with truth.”
❤️ Woman 4 (firm):
“A leader who cannot be corrected cannot be trusted.
I will follow humility, not arrogance.”
πΏ Lady Wisdom concludes:
“To lift a fool is to lower wisdom.
Do not give the unwise a seat at your gate —
the gate of your heart, your home, or your decisions.”
The women vote together.
Wisdom is honored.
Folly is denied.
π· REFLECTION THOUGHTS
Let each woman quietly ask herself:
π Woman 1: “Am I giving too much space to foolish influences?”
π Woman 2: “Am I elevating fear, pride, or negativity in my thoughts?”
π Woman 3: “Do I confuse charm or charisma with wisdom?”
❤️ Woman 4: “Is there an area in my life where I need to lower foolishness and lift wisdom?”
✨ Your Turn to Reflect

πΏ CLOSING ENCOURAGEMENT
Women of Wisdom, may God strengthen your discernment and steady your steps.
You were not made to follow foolish voices or be shaped by careless influences.
You were created to walk in truth, guard your heart, and lift wisdom high.
“Lift wisdom higher.
Lower foolishness quickly.
And let God’s voice sit at the gate of your heart.”
Walk wisely, dear sisters. π
May the Lord bless you with clarity, courage, and a heart anchored in His truth.

Good Morning Sisters
