🌟 INTRODUCTION – Pastor Arp

The sun streams in through the church windows. The women are seated in temperament circles, Bibles open, notepads ready. Warm chatter hums through the room, but there’s a holy anticipation.

Pastor Arp steps forward, voice steady with purpose:

“Sisters, welcome. Today we don’t just read—we live this Word.

Ephesians 4 is our blueprint for maturity—for unity—for truth wrapped in love. This is not a casual stroll; Paul urges us to walk worthy of our calling.

But first, an honest check-in: Have you made time for the Word (Ephesians 4) and prayer today?   Is God first—or squeezed in? When we stop prioritizing the Word, our love begins to grow cold. And in a community like this, consistency matters.

Your presence here is not just appreciated—it’s necessary. Every temperament, every gift, every sister—you matter. Let’s walk worthy together.  Let's pray before we begin our study.”

“Lord, we slow down to hear from You.
Remove distractions.
Knit our hearts in unity right now.
Let every word of Ephesians 4 awaken our call, convict our hearts, and draw us closer—to You and to one another.
In Jesus’ name, amen.”

📖 R – READ  

(Each temperament group takes turns reading Ephesians 4:1–16.)

• Cholerics – upright posture, firm tones. Gale reads with strength, Debra’s delivery is crisp, Tessie’s voice carries quiet fire.

• Sanguines – lively and expressive. Debbie grins mid-verse, Alison leans forward as she reads, Cassandra exclaims “Wow!” after her passage.

• Melancholics – deliberate and reverent. Alanda’s voice is measured, Melanie’s confident yet reflective, Jesmyn pauses for weight.

• Phlegmatics – gentle and steady. Maria’s voice soothes, Claudia reads slowly, the group nodding in quiet agreement.

Pastor Arp: “Your joy plus truth is light in darkness—keep it rooted.”

Cindy: “Verse 14—emotional steadiness matters.”

Hazel: “Unity takes effort—spiritual labor.”

Jesmyn: “Balancing truth and love is hard.”

Trudy: “Verse 25—truthfulness matters to God.”

Laura: “Verse 29—watch my tone and sarcasm.”

Alynthia: “Verse 26—feel emotions but release them God’s way.”

Glenda: “Grieving the Spirit—that hits hard.”

Deborah W.: “Verse 32—kindness and forgiveness are maturity.”

Theresa: “Paul’s fatherly but firm tone calls us to grow.”

Michelle: “Measure yourself by Christ, not others.”

Melanie: “Verse 17—mental renewal is a constant fight.”

Pastor Arp: “Your depth becomes discernment when filtered through grace.”

Ann C.: “Verse 2—humility and gentleness are a calling.”

Anne A.: “Verse 3—peace is an assignment, not avoidance.”

Pastor Arp: “You guard the peace—and that’s priceless.”
