PRAYERFULLY READ EPHESIANS 4 BEFORE READING THE FOLLOWING INTERACTIVE BIBLE STUDY.
Facilitator: Pastor Arp
Text: Ephesians 4:1-16
Day 1 – PRO (Prayer, Read, Observe)
Theme: Unity, Growth, and Grace in the Body of Christ
π INTRODUCTION – Pastor Arp
The sun streams in through the church windows. The women are seated in temperament circles, Bibles open, notepads ready. Warm chatter hums through the room, but there’s a holy anticipation.
Pastor Arp steps forward, voice steady with purpose:
“Sisters, welcome. Today we don’t just read—we live this Word.
Ephesians 4 is our blueprint for maturity—for unity—for truth wrapped in love. This is not a casual stroll; Paul urges us to walk worthy of our calling.
But first, an honest check-in: Have you made time for the Word (Ephesians 4) and prayer today? Is God first—or squeezed in? When we stop prioritizing the Word, our love begins to grow cold. And in a community like this, consistency matters.
Your presence here is not just appreciated—it’s necessary. Every temperament, every gift, every sister—you matter. Let’s walk worthy together. Let's pray before we begin our study.”
π P – PRAYER
“Lord, we slow down to hear from You.
Remove distractions.
Knit our hearts in unity right now.
Let every word of Ephesians 4 awaken our call, convict our hearts, and draw us closer—to You and to one another.
In Jesus’ name, amen.”
“Lord, we slow down to hear from You.
Remove distractions.
Knit our hearts in unity right now.
Let every word of Ephesians 4 awaken our call, convict our hearts, and draw us closer—to You and to one another.
In Jesus’ name, amen.”
π R – READ
(Each temperament group takes turns reading Ephesians 4:1–16.)
Cholerics – upright posture, firm tones. Gale reads with strength, Debra’s delivery is crisp, Tessie’s voice carries quiet fire.
Sanguines – lively and expressive. Debbie grins mid-verse, Alison leans forward as she reads, Cassandra exclaims “Wow!” after her passage.
Melancholics – deliberate and reverent. Alanda’s voice is measured, Melanie’s confident yet reflective, Jesmyn pauses for weight.
Phlegmatics – gentle and steady. Maria’s voice soothes, Claudia reads slowly, the group nodding in quiet agreement.

ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday!
Ephesians4: 1-16
Amen! As I read the scripture I see this passage as a road map to spiritual growth & maturity. It is saturated with practical advise on how we should live. I am looking forward to going deeper in the word.
Have a blessed day all!
A road map indeed Sister Debra. I got up this morning and was thinking that Ephesians 4 has a list of the Before and Now - the road we walked before and the road we are walking now. Thank you.
DeleteAmen!
DeleteSis, That road will always lead us into His truth. I'm so proud of you. Stay in the Word!! ❤️
DeleteGood morning everyone
ReplyDeleteEphesians 4
Amen!
Alynthia: “Verse 26—feel emotions but release them God’s way.”
This statement spoke most deeply to me today.
The words that lingers in my spirit are "Emotion" and "Release"
Have a blessed day!!
Yes, powerful words Sister Glenda. We have to release emotions God's way. Thanks for noting and sharing this.
Delete"Sister Glenda, I camped out on this one too. We definitely have to release those emotions to God."
DeleteAmen!!

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Sisters
Happy Tuesday
AMEN!
Every observation I read was such an eye-opener. But when I got to Verse 2 — “bear with one another” — and read Debbie’s words, “That’s staying in love, not leaving the room,” it was like a bright light switched on inside me literally.
Love sticks it out. It doesn’t just get up and walk away. No matter what. WOW!!!
Thank you Pastor ARP π
Have A Blessed Day!
Oh yes Sister Debbie, verse 2 did switch on a bright light. (I see you like what you said in the study with Pastor ARPπ. Thanks for sharing.

DeleteAmen Sis Debbie,
DeleteI am loving your expression of the light switch connection ..Wow!!
Good morning, Wisdom Seekers.
ReplyDeleteI do hope all is well.
Today, I Go Deep.
So many statements in the Observation section of the study spoke to me. Here are the ones that stood out most—one from each temperament—and how they impacted me:
Tessie: “Verse 13—maturity in Christ takes discipline.”
This reaffirmed what I already know but must apply to my life daily—if I want to mature in Christ, I must be willing to face the truth of God’s Word and discipline myself to follow it.
Debbie: “Verse 2—‘bear with one another.’ That’s staying in love, not leaving the room.”
Oh, this one got me because I struggle with this daily—being tempted to give up on some people—but it’s such a great reminder to suffer long and bear with others in love. Thank You, Lord.
Melanie: “Verse 17—mental renewal is a constant fight.”
Yes, the enemy of our souls never gives up, so I must be vigilant—fighting in the power of the Holy Spirit to renew my mind daily.
Jacintha: “Consistency—not perfection—is the goal.”
This is so true. When I aim for perfection, I’m more likely to quit. But when I focus on remaining consistent, even in my imperfection, transformation takes place.
These are my takeaways from today’s Observation section.
I’m looking forward to hearing what stood out to you as you go deep today.
Wishing everyone a wonderful and fruitful day.
"Sister Penny, thank you for sharing these life-altering nuggets. They are truly eye-opening.
DeleteAmen Lady Gale, yes I concur with your choices continents.
DeleteGood morning everyone
ReplyDeleteEphesians 4
Amen to the statements
Debbie: “Verse 2—‘bear with one another.’ That’s staying in love, not leaving the room.”
I have to make allowances for others, not to criticize but be patient and be there for them in love.
Alynthia: “Verse 26—feel emotions but release them God’s way."
It's ok for me to express my emotions but it's key to do so in love.
Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on the cause of your anger.
Blessed day to all.
Thanks for sharing sister Theresa. These are godly principal to live by...
DeleteAmen Sis Theresa, We think alike, so I am just joining in agreement with you!!
DeleteAnd me too, Amen! Thanks for sharing Sister Theresa.
DeleteGood morning, everyone!
ReplyDeleteAmen!
The statement in today’s study that spoke most deeply to me was:
Deborah W.:“Verse 32—kindness and forgiveness are maturity.”
Choosing kindness when it’s hard and extending forgiveness when it’s undeserved is a sign of true growth and maturity in Christ.
Have a wonderful day!
Very well said Sister Cindy. PROFOUND!! Like my son will say, "I like it" π
DeleteAmen Sis. Cindy, these 2 circumstances in your statements; " When it's hard...... & when it's undeserved".....truly speaks to maturity!!
DeleteYes, sisters, ...when it's hard...when it's underserving. As one sister once said, "this is big people food." To be able to do this means we are maturing. Thanks Sister Cindy!
DeleteGood morning everyone ☀️
ReplyDeleteAmen! I enjoyed the interactive bible study!
What stood out to me was: Hazel: “Unity takes effort—spiritual labor.”
Unity doesn’t come easily, it takes work!! It takes spiritual labour! Let’s not grow weary in our labour of love!
Have a great day~
Amen Sis Trudy I love this admonishment; " Let's not grow weary in our labour of love!
DeleteAnd to add to this Sister Glenda, as mothers we know what labour is like so let's push. Something great is on its way. Thanks Sister Trudy.
DeleteDr. Truds. Unity surely takes an effort to foster We must become intentional. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI am bless with all the comments and scriptures
DeleteReally a blessing to see growth and dedication in the lives of all the wisdom seekers
Morning everyone
ReplyDeleteAMEN
Claudia - truth in love needs holy sprit courage
To build up not tear down with humility and grace
Blessed Tuesday everyone
That is so true Sister Ann C. “Truth in love needs Holy Spirit courage.” Thanks for sharing.
DeleteGood morning ladies,
ReplyDeleteMelanie point stood out to me.
I have to renew my mind daily;
I no longer live like the Gentiles do
I have learned the truth in christ.
I enjoy this interactive Bible study
Melanie: “Verse 17—mental renewal is a constant fight.”
Yes, the enemy of our souls never gives up, so I must be vigilant—fighting in the power of the Holy Spirit to renew my mind daily.
Amen.
Have a wonderful day ladies
I am so happy to know you are enjoying this interactive Bible Study Sister Anne. Hmm, could it be because of the Pastor (LOL). Yes, Melanie's statement was one that stood out to me too. Thanks for sharing.
DeleteGood morning, everyone!
ReplyDeleteHappy holiday Tuesday to our Grenadian sisters, and happy Tuesday to our Canadian sisters and others alike.
I really love chapter 4—it reminds me of who I once was and who I am now in Christ. I also love what Anne A. shared: “Peace is an assignment, not avoidance.”
The verse that stood out to me is verse 27: “Neither give place to the devil.”
Stay in the Word.
Love you all, Wisdom Seekers!
Thanks for sharing Sister Alison. We have to be aware of giving the devil a foothold in our lives.
DeleteThanks for sharing Sister Alison. Yes indeed, Peace is an assignment, not avoidance.
ReplyDeleteGood day ladies.
ReplyDeleteAmen!
Michelle: “Measure yourself by Christ, not others.”
This speak powerfully to me, not to loose sight of who my eyes should be stayed up on. God measure is all the measurements that is necessary for transformation.
Alanda: “Paul’s order matters—unity, growth, behaviour.”
The word unity in Ephesians has given me a new prospective its challenging me to leave unnecessary things alone, it's challenging me to focus my near sightedness to longer ranges; my focal points need correcting
Hazel: “Unity takes effort—spiritual labor.”
It caused me to think on this question, what efforts am I putting in to arrive at unity? Is my spiritual labour enough to arrive at the unity God desires from me.
Blessings
Great Sister Tessie! "Your unity and near-sightedness analogy is spot-on—God calls us to lift our eyes from small distractions to His bigger, eternal vision." Thanks for your input.
DeleteInsightful sis Tessie !
DeleteGood day Ladies verse 15 but speaking the truth
ReplyDeleteIn love we are to grow up in all aspects into him

Howdy Ladies,
ReplyDeleteHope everyone is doing well ,

A few of these statements resonate with me today !
Cindy: “Verse 14—emotional steadiness matters.”
Melanie: “Verse 17—mental renewal is a constant fight.”
Jacintha: “Consistency—not perfection—is the goal.”
great reminder for me as this is one of my growth areas.

ReplyDeleteEPHESIANS 4 INTERACTIVE BIBLE STUDIES.
"Amen"
Sis.Hazel : " Unity takes effort- spiritual labor."
Is one of many that spoke to me.
Unity will not just happen , it takes great effort by everyone, with the guidance of the Holy spirit.
Blessings.
Amen
ReplyDeleteThis statement stood out to me today as I observed the text.
Gale: “Paul’s not making suggestions—he’s urging action."
This is the lifestyle the practical way that is expected of me to live out in my daily life.
Blessings
Hello ladies
ReplyDeleteAMEN
Michelle: Measure yourself by christ not others.
Deborah W: Verse 32 kindness and forgiveness is maturity.
These two statements have stood out to me because they remind me not to focus or fear others opinions , but keep my attention centered on God. Which is a key point in life as well as kindness and forgiveness. Since not everyone has the ability to do so and I was gifted that ability then I must be mature and display not just kindness but also forgiveness.
Good night everyone.
Hello everyone,
ReplyDeleteThis is that tugging on my heart
Melanie: “Verse 17—mental renewal is a constant fight.”
This is so true, it is a constant fight. Paul admonished us in the book of Romans 12:2b to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. To do that it takes discipline, determination, and consistency. It cannot be done by one’s self only. We need support and encouragement. But most of all the help of the Holy Spirit.
Have a restful night everyone
Good night everyone.
