Days 121–151
💬 Gentle Encouragement
This month reminds us that God often works through both victories and struggles to shape hearts for His purposes.
Some chapters will reveal courage and faith.
Others will expose weakness, failure, and difficult consequences.
Yet through every account, God remains sovereign, merciful, and faithful.
Even when people are inconsistent, the Lord continues to guide His people and fulfill His promises.
Pray simply:
“Lord, give me a heart that seeks You fully and walks faithfully in every season.”
🌿 Monthly Overview
This month continues through 1 Samuel, where we see the growing contrast between Saul and David. Saul struggles with obedience and dependence upon God, while David increasingly demonstrates a heart that seeks after the Lord despite his imperfections.
We then move through 2 Samuel, where David becomes king and experiences both triumphs and painful failures. These chapters remind us of the blessings of obedience, the seriousness of sin, and the mercy of God even in difficult seasons.
By the end of the month, we begin 1 Kings, where Solomon rises to leadership and the kingdom enters a new season marked by wisdom, prosperity, and the building of the Temple.
In the New Testament, we continue through Romans, where Paul explains the gospel, salvation by faith, life in the Spirit, and practical Christian living. We then begin 1 Corinthians, where Paul addresses spiritual growth, unity, worship, and holy living within the church.
The Psalms (119:49–145) continue to guide us in worship, wisdom, perseverance, trust, repentance, and delight in God’s Word. Psalm 119 especially emphasizes the beauty, reliability, and transforming power of Scripture.
