💬 Gentle Encouragement
This month reminds us that God remains faithful through seasons of rebuilding, correction, renewal, and growth.
Some chapters will inspire us with stories of courage and reform.
Others will reveal the consequences of pride, compromise, and disobedience.
Yet throughout it all, God continues to preserve His people and accomplish His purposes.
Even when circumstances change, the Lord remains constant and worthy of our trust.
Pray simply:
“Lord, help me to remain faithful, attentive to Your Word, and willing to follow wherever You lead.”
🌿 Monthly Overview
This month begins with the closing chapters of 1 Kings and continues through 2 Kings, where we witness the ministries of Elijah and Elisha, the rise and fall of kings, and the spiritual decline of both Israel and Judah. These chapters repeatedly remind us that obedience to God matters deeply and that the Lord continues to call His people back to Himself.
We then move into 1 Chronicles, which revisits Israel’s history with an emphasis on worship, leadership, covenant, and preparation for the Temple. These chapters highlight God’s faithfulness across generations and the importance of wholehearted devotion.
In the New Testament, we continue through 2 Corinthians, where Paul speaks about suffering, comfort, generosity, reconciliation, and spiritual strength. We then journey through Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, and begin Colossians, learning about grace, freedom in Christ, unity, spiritual maturity, and joyful Christian living.
This month also brings us to the completion of the Psalms, ending with the great praise psalms of Psalm 146–150. These final psalms call everything that has breath to praise the Lord.
