🌟 Temperament Transformation Devotional:Day 5 – CHOLERIC
🟥 Theme: Strength Through Surrender
💬 Welcome, to the last day of our 5-Day PROMPTS Devotional, Choleric Leader. We trust your reflections have been transformational and that you’ve begun crafting your response(s) for tomorrow, God willing.
Today is about redefining strength—not as control, but as surrender. Your God-given ability to lead and decide is powerful, but it’s even more powerful when surrendered to God’s wisdom and timing.
🗓️ Take 10–15 minutes to let go of one area where you're pushing in your own strength. Invite God into the space you’ve been trying to manage alone.
📖 PROMPTS Devotional
P – Prayer Lord, I confess I often try to take the lead without You. Remind me that real strength is found when I yield to You. Help me trust Your timing and lay down my urge to control.
R – Read 📜 Proverbs 3:5–6 (NET) "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight."
O – Observe 🔎 Where have I leaned on my own understanding instead of trusting God? 🔎 How does surrendering to God feel different than giving up?
M – Meaning Trust and surrender go hand in hand. For a Choleric, this is not weakness—it’s maturity. The straight path comes not from effort alone, but from trust.
P – Practice 🛠️ Challenge: Choose one task or decision and ask God directly, “What would You have me do?” Wait and listen.
💡 Reflective Question: Where in my life do I need to stop striving and start surrendering?
T – Talk to God Father, thank You for reminding me that You direct my path when I trust You. I surrender what I’ve been holding so tightly. Teach me how to walk in bold, Spirit-led obedience. My strength comes from You.
S – Summary 📌 Summary: Surrender is not giving up—it’s growing up. Today I’ve learned that when I trust God fully, my strength becomes more focused, fruitful, and faithful.
