P.R.O.M.P.T Bible Study
Prayed – Yes,
I prayed the one given and I ask God to give fresh insight as I go through his word daily.
I also ask for consistence in remaining in the word and that He will give me the strength to remain steadfast with a peace of mind.
Have you read the scripture in different versions: Yes
The one that encourage me is: Isaiah 26: 3-4 (AMP)
“You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on you – in both inclination and character], Because he trust and takes refuge in you[with hope and confident expectation].
“Trust [confidently] in the LORD forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner],
For the LORD GOD is an everlasting Rock[the Rock of Ages].
This show me that not only perfect peace God gave me, but also protection, He is my fortress, shield, banner and my everlasting Rock.
(Thursday) I'm just getting started, and I'm ready for my breakthrough!
Have a bless evening.

Pray: yes
Read: I read both scripture passages
Romans 12:1-2, Colossians 3:2-3
Colossians 3:2-3 stood to most
“Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm. Your crucifixion with Christ has severed the tie to this life, and now your true life is hidden away in God in Christ.”
Colossians 3:2-3 TPT
Yes, I read today’s scripture in more than one version.
Good night all

ReplyDeleteI read and prayed on the Bible study ..
This is the version that resonates with me
Romans 12 :1-2 Nlt
And so, dear brothers and sisters,[a] I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.[b] 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

I have prayed about the Bible study today and I've read the scriptures in more than one version, the one that stood out most to me was - Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust Him along the way, you'll find He pulled it off perfectly! He will appear as your righteousness, as sure as the dawning of a new day. He will manifest as your justice, as sure and strong as the noonday sun (TPT)
I have answered the observation questions, the one that stood out to me most was - When are we most tempted to take control or self-blame?

DeleteGaleπ Happy Sunday Wisdom Seekers! π
ReplyDeleteThe practice I’m committing to is writing out Micah 6:8 and keeping it on my desktop as a daily leadership reminder.
Why? Because this verse has deeply impacted me. Through our study, I’ve come to see that God isn’t seeking grand, showy sacrifices. What He desires is a life marked by integrity, mercy, and humility—qualities that lead us to walk closely with Him. That truth truly spoke to my heart.
π I’ve shared this lesson with Sister Dayna (my sister from another mother) and her daughter, Sister Kenisha. I pray it blesses them as it did me.
I’m looking forward to the activities from Monday through Wednesday as we continue diving deeper into this study. I hope each of you is enjoying the journey and finding God’s wisdom speaking personally to your heart.

I didn’t share yet with anyone..
Hello Sisters
ReplyDeleteSanguine/Choleric
Hope you are doing well. I had a Great Day with the Saints at church. ππ
The Practice is will be doing this week is
Pause before I do any major task this week and say, “Lord, guide me before I go.”
I shared with Sister Vernice my experience with the Word last week.
To me this is life changing.
Last week’s Bible Study was so on point. One area in my life I’ve been focusing on is being able to stay humble and cast my cares on Jesus
My week’s scripture verse was from
1 Peter 5:6-8 which says ,
So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.”
There are so many things I love about God one of which He is so consistent whenever He speaks. So before last week’s Bible Study, I was praying asking God to allow me to stay humble because I saw how easy it is to walk in pride or driven by my ego.
I see His word as my mirror which will always allow me to see myself.
Yesterday’s Proverbs in Verses 12 reminded me:
“For the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.”
And that’s what last week verse did, correct and reminded me of my walk with the Lord.
I’m learning to stay focused and stay humble.
Have a blessed rest of your day ❤️

Wisdom Wednesday
Proverbs 4:23
Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
My reason for choosing this verse..
The closer I get to God the more I realize that my actions dictate who I am, every character and speech reflects my heart ♥️ , I may be able to pretend for a while but if my heart is not in the right place it will quickly regain control.
I must closely examine myself and select the choices that will be good for me , each day I am faced with challenges but I must be able to accept Godliness , every sin comes from the heart and once am able to guard it there is no limit to my potential success before God and man ..
I shared this with my sister ..
Well said Sister Alanda: when we guard against sin there is no limit to our potential success before God and man. Continue to guard your heart my sister. Thanks for sharing.
DeleteSister Aland, This is truly some serious Wisdom. Thank You

Wisdom Wednesday
Proverbs 1:7 (KJV):
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
I chose this verse because it teaches that true wisdom starts with a deep reverence and respect for God. It shows the difference between those who are willing to learn and those who turn away from guidance. It’s a great starting point for me as I seek to grow in faith and understanding.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Amen
DeleteHello Ladies
DeleteMel/Phle
Wisdom Wednesday
I chose Proverbs 4:23 as my verse to share , it states
Proverbs 4:23 NIV
[23] Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
I chose this verse because it was a reminder of my PROMPT Bible Studies
Romans 12:1-2 and Colossians 3:2-3
Which the central theme is to think on Heavenly things and to align my thoughts with the will and things of God.
Proverbs 4:23 reminds me to guard my heart, be mindful of my thoughts because everything flows from it.
Reflection
I cherished dwelling on these 2 verses this week using the PROMPT method, the week alongside Bible Studies helped me to prioritize making the time to study the word of God. I even went as far as implementing Bedtime hours on my phone so after a certain time, everything shuts down
These two verses helped me this week and enabled me to have a positive week, instead of feeling sorry for myself I reached out for help where help was needed, whenever the enemy brought doubts in my mind I reaffirmed God's truth
Because I was looking towards Heavenly things - I saw the miracles that were happening in my life, e.g the cashier just randomly choosing to price match my items bringing my bill down
This week I also remembered a word that was spoken over me that lifted my spirits when I felt down about my health and career.
I consumed more content that spoke about God/my faith.
It was a good week studying Romans 12:1-2 and Colossians 3:2-3,
Thank you Sis Penny for your diligence and your hard work for putting this together.
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone
Thanks for sharing Sister Jesmyn. It is great to know that you enjoyed this week's PROMPTS' Bible Study. Keep prioritizing the study of the Word.

DeleteGood Day Ladies
ReplyDeleteHope all is well.
Today, I’m catching up — every step forward counts!
I choose
Proverbs 3 :11 My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline,
and don’t be upset when he corrects you.
I choose this verse because over the last few months, I’ve seen how God had used his word to discipline me. I understand what it looks like as a parent when I disciplined my kids, it was because I love them and wanted the best for them. I feel and sense the same love from the Lord.
Discipline is not always easy, but it’s always done from a place of love. Therefore, by accepting and welcoming His correction it shows me I’m in relationship with my heavenly Father.
How has this week impacted your thinking, your heart, or your habits?
This past week has been one where I was intentional in allowing myself to truly listen to and obey Lady Wisdom. Listening to the voice of Wisdom has become very rewarding. It kept me saying how I truly wanted to express myself, from how God will want me to. It's amazing how I’m seeing things so much clearer now than before. And saying and doing things to hurt others have reduced significantly. Thank You Jesus.
God’s words are truly a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
Have a fantastic rest of your day.
Goodnight everyone
ReplyDeleteAlison sanguine/choleric
Today I choose Proverbs chapter 3-6
In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your path straight
I believe in total surrender to God,as a result in every aspect of my life, all my ways I involve the lord and in this way I give the lord the opportunity to direct my steps in the right direction and in doing so my ways are secure and righteous.
Yes my Temperament Partner Amen ππΌ

Melancholic/ phlegmatic
Today I choose:
Proverbs 3:5-6
Why I chose this verse: I sense the Lord wanting me to trust Him more deeply. Not just say I trust Him, no longer on the surface trust, but go deeper.
He wants me to have confidence in Him that He will do what He says and will be who He says He will be to me.
Everything I do: I read something the word trust stands out, the songs I sing or listen to they all mention the word trust in God.
Even this morning the song that came to me I will trust in the Lord by Donnie McClukin, another song I have been listening to lately is, I Believe by Jonathan Nelson.
Lord help me to truly trust you and not rely on my own understanding.
Affirmation:
I will trust in God
He can be trusted
I am submitting all my ways to Him
God is taking care of the things I can’t see
He can handle anything I put in His care
Have a good night sleep!
Minister Michelle. This proves the consistency of God. Just this morning I was sharing with someone the same thing. When God is speaking to us, mostly every song, quote or scripture all have the same message. That's Wonderful

Today I choose Proverbs chapter 3-6
In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your path straight
I believe in total surrender to God, as a result in every aspect of my life, all my ways I involve the lord and in this way I give the lord the opportunity to direct my steps in the right direction and in doing so my ways are secure and righteous.
Amen Sister Alison. Continue to allow Him to direct your path. Thanks for sharing.

Wisdom Wednesday
Proverbs 5 : 21
For the ways of everyone are before the eyes of the Lord,
This verse is a reminder to me that nothing I do is hidden from the Lord.
He knows my thoughts and attitudes. Putting me in a state of mindfulness in the way I live my life.
Blessings
Like I said to Sister Deborah, God is all omniscient /omnipresent - so I pray we live with this knowledge always knowing that God is aware of our every move. Let us fear Him!

ReplyDeleteI have studied Romans 8:1 in different version's over the past week.
It have opened the eyes of my understand of what it means to truly surrender as a child of God.
You see, once I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour, I have been set free because Jesus's blood has cleanse me and made me a new creation, helping me to walk in obedience to God. Surrending my will, letting go of my plans, and trusting in His plan for my life.
His Holy Spirit allowed me spend time prayerfully study God's word daily, recognizing God's sovereignty and authority over my life.
And now I can truly say that I believe and accept the fact of this scriptures, without a reason to doubt, Romans 8:1 "Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior]. (AMP)
The following 2 scripture verses stands out to me:
• 2 Timothy 1:7 "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline."
• Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
Stay blessed y'all.
Good morning everyone.

I am catching up
Proverbs 1:7
Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
Proverbs 2:3
Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
Proverbs 4:23
Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
Proverbs 5:21
For the Lord sees clearly what a man does, examining every path he takes.
Proverbs 6:21
Keep their words always in your heart. Tie them around your neck.
Proverbs 7:3
Tie them on your fingers as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart.
I chose these verses because they are reminding me to reverence God , cry out to him for a clearer and deeper understanding to trust Him with all my heart , to seek his will and He will show me the path to take.
I will guard my heart because he sees and knows my intentions.
Have a great day
Deborah
