💬 Welcome, to the last day of our 5-Day PROMPTS Devotional, Thoughtful Soul. We trust your reflections have been transformational and that you’ve begun crafting your response(s) for tomorrow, God willing.

You see the world through a lens of depth—but sometimes that depth can turn into heaviness. Today, God invites you to choose joy in faith.—but sometimes that depth can turn into heaviness. Today, God invites you to choose joy in faith.

🗓️ Spend 10–15 minutes lifting your eyes above what’s wrong to celebrate what is good.

📖 PROMPTS Devotional 

P – Prayer Lord, I open my heart to joy. Even when I don’t feel it, I choose it today because You are worthy.

R – Read 📜 Philippians 4:4 (NET) "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice!"

O – Observe 🔎 What does it mean to rejoice “in the Lord”—not just in circumstances? 🔎 Why might Paul repeat the command to rejoice?

M – Meaning Joy is more than emotion—it’s a spiritual discipline. For Melancholics, this means choosing to celebrate even while waiting or grieving.

P – Practice 🛠️ Challenge: Write down 3 reasons to rejoice in God today—and say them aloud.

💡 Reflective Question: What would it look like to fight heaviness with gratitude today?

T – Talk to God God, You are the source of my joy. Help me see through the fog of my thoughts and find reasons to praise. Teach me to rejoice, again and again.

S – Summary 📌 Summary: I may not always feel joyful, but I can still rejoice. Today I’m learning to let joy rise—even in the middle of complexity.
