What did you learn from today’s Proverb?

Today I learned that...It is important to surrender my plans to God. Many times, I may make my own plans, but it is the Lord who ultimately directs my steps. This chapter has taught me the value of humility, because pride leads to destruction, while trusting in God brings security.

I also learned how much God values integrity and righteousness. Even my motives matter to Him, not just my actions. I need to continually check my heart and seek His wisdom in every decision.

I am also encouraged to pursue peace, patience, and self-control, knowing that a gentle spirit can be more powerful than force or anger. Overall, this chapter calls me to trust God’s sovereignty, walk in humility, and live with integrity.

    Blessed day!!

    Proverbs 16:3

Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans.

Today I choose Learn and Thank God

Today I learned that if only I commit my ways to the lord he will settle comfort and strengthen me .. in a world that is uncertain where I do not know what tomorrow brings I am reminded through his word even though fear and doubts and the perplexities of life he can and he will take my worries away once I commit to him , he also reminded me in Philippians 4;6 7 that I should be careful for nothing – and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
I want to commit my works to do the lord by doing everything his way because at the end of the day the end result doesn’t depend on me ..

Father this morning I want to thank you for your steadfast love , I want to thank you for your Holy Spirit that continues to nudge me when I do wrong , please do not take your Holy Spirit from me , I thank you for your grace and mercy over my life and the life of my family continue to mold and shape us into how you want us to be , allow your will to be done in ourselves in Jesus name I pray
    Amen
    Have a blessed Monday .. 🌺

  5. Hello and Happy Monday!

    Today I Choose Option 2: L.E.A.N. I.N.
    Reflection on Proverbs 16:1 & 9 (NASB)

1 The plans of the heart belong to a person,
But the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.

9 The mind of a person plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps.

    L – Look 🔍
These verses stood out immediately. They reminded me that even though I may plan things out in my heart, the final word — the direction and the outcome — belongs to God.

    E – Examine 🪞
I had to pause and really think: Have I been giving God a chance to guide my actions and decisions lately? Or have I been trying to make things happen on my own? These verses call me to examine the “why” behind what I do — and to surrender the outcome.

    A – Align ⚖️
To align my life with this truth, I want to make these verses part of my daily rhythm — committing each task, goal, and step to God. Memorizing and meditating on them will help me walk with more trust and less control.

    N – Name 📝
One step I can take today is to pause before making decisions — not just the big ones, but even the everyday ones. I want to invite God into everything, trusting that He will establish the right outcome.

    I – Invite 🙏
Holy Spirit, I invite You to take the lead. Help me to truly commit my work, my thoughts, and my goals to You. Show me where I’m holding too tightly, and teach me to rest in Your direction.

    N – Notice 👣
I’ve noticed that when I slow down, surrender, and resist the urge to control, I can actually see God working more clearly. His peace shows up when I stop striving and start trusting.

Today, I close with these thoughts:
Keeping in mind that God is in control of both answers and direction — not me, I can rest securely in Him and continually resist the urge to take charge of my life. These verses offer a calm assurance that God’s hand is steady, even when mine is not. I know that my heart may hold many plans, but real peace and purpose come when I commit them to the Lord and let Him establish my path.

I encourage everyone to continue to commit your ways to the Lord.

    Have a great day!

  6. Good morning everyone!

I hope you all are doing well. My goal is to try to post 'earlier' this week lol!
I did the LEAN-IN option and it was a really good way to stop and reflect on the Proverbs for today.

L – The verse that caught my attention was “He who gives attention to the word will find good, and blessed is he who trust in the Lords.” Proverbs 16:20 (NASB)

E – This verse made me realize I need to examine how much attention I am giving to the Word. By giving attention to the Word, I will find good and I will be blessed as I trust God.

A – I can align my thoughts/words/actions by giving full attention to the Word.

N – One step I can take today is to start my day off with the Word of God and find ways of incorporate listening/reading the Word throughout the day.

I – Holy Spirit, I invite You to help me to be intentional in giving attention to your Word. Speak to me and lead me in all truth as I trust you.

N – I noticed God working in me or around me when I put aside all other distractions and focus on listening to His voice and reading His Word.
