NEW: Daily Growth Through
L.I.G.H.T.
or
L.E.A.N.-I.N.
Dear Wisdom Seekers,
Welcome to Day 14 of our June Proverbs journey! Today’s chapter invites us to notice how reverence for the Lord shapes confidence, steadies emotions, and guides every temperament toward wholeness in Christ.
To support your growth and meet you right where you are, we’re offering two participation options:
πΉ Option 1 — L.I.G.H.T. | Choose just ONE simple action.
πΉ Option 2 — L.E.A.N.-I.N. | Choose ONE or more thoughtful prompts for deeper reflection.
πΉ Feel free to switch between options or blend them—whatever fits your season.
πΈ Whether you post a full reflection or simply say, “I read,” remember—your voice matters. Every small step is part of your transformation, and we’re cheering you on. π This space isn’t for comparison or competition—it’s for complementing one another as we grow in wisdom.
π Today’s Chapter: Proverbs 14
“The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish tears it down with her own hands.” — Pr 14:1
“There is a way which seems right to a person, but its end is the way of death.” — Pr 14:12
“In all labor there is profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.” — Pr 14:23
“In the fear of the LORD there is strong confidence, and His children will have refuge.” — Pr 14:26
“Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered exalts folly.” — Pr 14:29
π± Gentle Reflection
Pause with the Holy Spirit and simply ponder:
-
Where does healthy reverence for God replace unhealthy fear in your temperament?
-
Are your decisions building up or quietly tearing down?
-
Do your daily actions match your words—bringing profit instead of empty talk?
(No need to post your answers—just let the Spirit speak.)
Letter | What to Post | Sample Response |
---|---|---|
L | Leave a verse that stood out | “The verse that stood out to me today is …” |
I | Indicate you read the blog | “I read the blog.” |
G | Glance at the reflection question | “I glanced at the reflection question.” |
H | Highlight one word/phrase | “The word that struck me is …” |
T | Take a moment to stay connected | “Hello everyone!” |
π¬ Option 2: L.E.A.N.-I.N.
(Go deeper—reflect on ONE or more prompts and share if led)
Letter | Reflection Prompt | Focus |
---|---|---|
L | Look into today’s Proverbs: Which verse speaks to your temperament? | Awareness |
E | Examine your heart: Where is your temperament being challenged today? | Honesty |
A | Apply one verse: How could this wisdom reshape your reactions or choices? | Application |
N | Notice something new: What fresh mindset, habit, or response will you embrace? | Renewal |
I | Invite the Holy Spirit: Where is He nudging you to yield or grow? | Surrender |
N | Nurture growth: What practice (prayer, journaling, action) will sustain it? | Consistency |
πΏ Transformation isn’t rushed—it’s walked out step by step.
π Your Response

We’re growing together—one Proverb at a time.
Have a blessed day, everyone! π
Good morning wisdom seekers πΊ
ReplyDeleteProverbs 14
I choose to do light and a little bit of leaning .. π
The verse that spoke to me
Proverbs 14:27
The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life,
turning a person from the snares of death.
I have found what it is to have life and have it more abundantly and I will be drinking from it , having this reverence for God has allowed me to shy away from so many things , at this point I feel like I don’t want to do anything that will bring disgrace to myself or have God turn his eyes from me .
In my daily walk with him he is inviting me to seek him first above all other things and everything else will be added unto me , I have been intentional in my prayer life , praying without ceasing in good times and bad before my feet hits the floor I am prompted to pray and at times I just smile , in my mind it’s like an alarm clock alerting me that I must do this .
Happy Saturday everyone πΊ

ReplyDeleteHolΓ‘ Sisters!
ReplyDeleteToday, my focus is on the letter L in LEAN-IN:
L – Look into today’s Proverbs: Which verse speaks to your temperament? Awareness.
Proverbs 14:29 really speaks to my heart. I’m asking God to continue working through His Holy Spirit to bring greater awareness to my responses and reactions toward others. At times, I do forget, and this verse serves as a powerful reminder to practice patience and keep my anger in check.
Blessings to each of you as you go about your day!
Hello Wise Sisters
ReplyDeleteGood Morning.
Hope all is well.
I am looking at the A in LEAN-IN
A: Apply one verse; How could this wisdom reshape your reactions or choices? Application
I am applying the wisdom of Proverbs 14:29 to my life.
“Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding.”
This verse struck a deep chord in me this morning. So often, situations arise that could easily provoke frustration or anger. But today, I’m choosing a different response. I want to be known not for quick tempers or reactive words, but for having great understanding—for being slow to anger and rich in grace.
James 1:19 echoes this same call: “Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.” I am taking this to heart.
Going forward, when things don’t go the way I expect, I will pause. I will resist the urge to react out of emotion and instead respond with wisdom. I’m choosing to reflect God’s character in my actions, because I believe true understanding is seen not in what we say, but in how we respond
Wishing Everyone a GREATTTT Day❤️❤️❤️

The verse that stood out to ne today is

"He who is,slow to anger has great understanding
But he who is quick tempered exalted folly." π΄ Have good night sleep
Goodnight everyone~
ReplyDeleteI read the blog and chapter 14.
The verse that challenged my melancholic temperament today was: “In all labor there is profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.” — Pr 14:23
As a melancholic, I am encouraged to act and not merely talk (not merely OVERTHINK). I want to allow the Holy Spirit to give me the boldness to ACT and not allow overthinking and perfectionism to hold me back. The proverb tells me that there is 'profit' to labour (acting) and failing to act would lead to poverty (lack).
Have a great night and wonderful day in worship, God willing!
Good night everyone.
ReplyDeleteI read Proverbs 24
I read the blog
