📖. June 12 - Proverbs 12

Greetings, Wisdom Seekers,

Before diving into today’s reflection, take a moment to prayerfully read Proverbs 12. Ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you through the Word and reveal the areas in your temperament where He desires transformation.

🧭 About Proverbs 12

This chapter offers a striking contrast between the wise and the foolish, the diligent and the lazy, the truthful and the deceptive. It reminds us that true righteousness isn’t just what we say—but how we live. Wisdom shapes our speech, our work, our relationships, and our responses to correction.

💡 Challenge for Today:
Let the Word of God examine your natural tendencies. As you read, ask: Is my temperament aligned with the character of Christ? Transformation is already in progress through the power of the Holy Spirit—but it requires your daily yes to His refining work.

    Self-Reflection Quiz — Proverbs 12

    I've answered all five questions, but the one that truly stood out to me was;

    1. “Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but one who hates rebuke is stupid.”
    – Proverbs 12:1
How do you usually respond when someone corrects you?
    C) I reflect on it deeply, but I may internalize it too harshly.

When someone corrects me, I usually take time to reflect on it because I genuinely want to learn and grow. I try to understand where they’re coming from and how I can improve. But I’ve noticed that sometimes I can be too hard on myself, I can overthink the situation, replay my mistakes, and let self-doubt creep in. Instead of just seeing it as helpful feedback, I may turn it into self-criticism. Lately, I’ve been working on finding a healthier balance - taking what’s helpful from the correction, being open and humble, but also giving myself grace so I don’t get stuck in unnecessary guilt or harshness. It’s a process, but I’m learning to handle correction in a way that helps me keep growing without weighing myself down.

    Have a good day all!

  3. Good morning every one

    Proverbs 12-1
Who ever loves discipline love knowledge , but whoever hates correction is stupid.

    Question
How do you used your words when some one wrong you

    Answer
Before I started this transformation journey I will say, I speak directly and boldly to adress the issue.
However I have grown and learn how to accept wisdom.
So I will not do that any more , instead I will ask the holy Spirit to guide me and use my words with humility to adress the issue

    Have a bless day everyone
    Peace

  7. Goodnight everyone

These were really great questions based on Proverbs 12!

The one that stood out to me most was question :
“Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but one who hates rebuke is stupid.”
    – Proverbs 12:1
How do you usually respond when someone corrects you?
    C) I reflect on it deeply, but I may internalize it too harshly.
Through our temperament transformation, I am learning about my inner critic and tendency towards internalizing things. I am learning, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to silence my inner critic and focus on thinking about whatever is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent and praiseworthy.

I'm enjoying this journey and I look forward to the transformation the Holy Spirit will do in my life!
