πΏ May 15 – Temperament Transformation Week 2 Recap (May 8-14)
Yielded for Transformation
✨ Good day, Wisdom Seekers!
We’ve just completed Week Two of our Temperament Transformation Journey — and what a week it was! Seven powerful blends were highlighted. Seven unique ways God has wired us — and seven invitations from the Holy Spirit to surrender, grow, and be transformed. And one wisdom seeker gave birth to a son! We have a lot to be thankful for.
Each of us carries a beautiful design, but also inner struggles that can hinder us from becoming all God created us to be. As we learned more about ourselves, the Holy Spirit was gently showing us how to let go of old habits and step into new freedom.
π¬ Today’s invitation:
Go back and read the info and review for your temperament blend if you haven't done so as yet.
Reflect on the question provided below. Choose a response from the ones provided— or write your own response.
Share your answer in the comments below and let us know how we can pray for you this week by choosing one answer at the end of this post.
Phlegmatic/Melancholic (π΅π’)
Sisters: Claudia, Jacintha, Anne
Theme: Calm and Caring – Gentle Wisdom in Action
Scripture: “In quietness and trust is your strength.” — Isaiah 30:15
Why Yielding Matters:
These sisters often stay behind the scenes, quietly wrestling with hesitation and fear of saying the wrong thing. The Holy Spirit calls them to rise with quiet confidence and use their voice for good.
Transformation Question:
Now that you understand how God values your quiet strength, how will you begin to step out of hiding and allow Him to use your voice?
A) I’ll stay silent and safe — I’m still afraid to speak.
B) I want to speak, but I need more time and reassurance.
C) I will speak when prompted, trusting the Spirit’s gentle nudge.
Melancholic/Choleric (π΅π΄)
Sisters: Cindy, Glenda, Theresa
Theme: Strength with Surrender – Purpose under Grace
Scripture: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9
Why Yielding Matters:
This blend often lives under self-imposed pressure to perform. The Spirit reminds them that God's grace is the true measure of success, not flawless outcomes.
Transformation Question:
After learning that God values your heart over your performance, how will you begin releasing perfectionism?
A) I still feel like I must perform to be accepted.
B) I want to release it, but it’s hard to let go of control.
C) I will start by welcoming grace and trusting God with the outcome.
Melancholic/Phlegmatic (π΅π’)
Sisters: Alanda, Alynthia, Deborah, Jesmyn, Laura, Trudy, Michelle
Theme: Quiet Strength – Embracing Steadfast Grace
Scripture: “Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you.” — Psalm 55:22
Why Yielding Matters:
They are caring and deeply reflective — but often carry silent burdens alone. The Spirit invites them to release the pressure and step into Spirit-led courage.
Transformation Question:
Now that you’ve seen how your thoughtfulness is a gift and not a weakness, how will you begin to release your silent burdens?
A) I’m not ready to open up — it feels too risky.
B) I want to share, but only in safe spaces.
C) I will begin releasing my fears to God and trusted sisters.
Sanguine/Phlegmatic (π‘π’)
Sister: Cassandra
Theme: Peaceful Joy – Anchoring Presence with Purpose
Scripture: “Let your light shine before others.” — Matthew 5:16
Why Yielding Matters:
Cheerful and calm, these sisters bring joy — but sometimes avoid consistency or tough decisions. Yielding calls them to grow in spiritual steadiness without losing their warmth.
Transformation Question:
After seeing that consistency is part of your calling, how will you commit to showing up more intentionally?
A) I’m still scared of pressure and responsibility.
B) I’ll try, but I might need support and reminders.
C) I will take one consistent step forward, trusting God to help me grow.
Sanguine/Choleric (π‘π΄)
Sisters: Alison, Debbie
Theme: Energized with Intention – Surrendered Strength
Scripture: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.” — Psalm 37:23
Why Yielding Matters:
Bold and quick-moving, these sisters often lead with charisma. But the Spirit is calling them to slow down, listen, and let Him direct their steps with purpose.
Transformation Question:
Now that you’ve learned to value God’s timing over your own momentum, what will change about how you lead?
A) I still struggle to slow down — I trust my instincts more than God’s prompting.
B) I want to wait on God, but I need to develop more patience.
C) I will begin asking God to lead before I take the lead.
Melancholic/Sanguine (π’π‘)
Sister: Hazel
Theme: Thoughtful Light – Stabilizing Emotion through Truth
Scripture: “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You.” — Isaiah 26:3
Why Yielding Matters:
This blend is expressive, creative, and emotionally rich. But the Spirit is drawing them toward emotional stability, helping them walk in truth even when feelings fluctuate.
Transformation Question:
Now that you’ve seen your identity in Christ is your anchor, how will you respond when emotions begin to take over?
A) I’ll ride the wave of emotions — it’s how I cope.
B) I’ll try to pause and reflect but may still be swayed.
C) I will ground myself in Scripture and ask the Spirit to guide my heart.
Choleric/Melancholic (π΄π΅)
Sisters: Gale, Tessie
Theme: Purpose Refined – Grace Over Grit
Scripture: “Cease striving and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Why Yielding Matters:
Strong, structured, and responsible, this blend often pushes themselves to achieve — sometimes at the cost of peace. The Spirit is calling them to release control and lead with grace, not just grit.
Transformation Question:
After realizing that your value isn’t in your results, how will you begin to rest and let go?
A) I don’t know how — I’m afraid to lose control.
B) I’m trying to trust, but I still feel responsible for everything.
C) I will pause, pray, and choose grace over performance.
ππΎ What Can We Pray with You For?
As we begin this third week in May, let’s pray for one another. Drop a quick note in the comments and let us know how we can lift you up.
What would you like the group to pray with you for this week?
A) Pray that I will fully surrender control and stop relying on my own strength.
B) Pray for consistency and courage to walk in what the Spirit is showing me.
C) Pray that I will stop hiding, speak up, and let God use me — even when it feels uncomfortable.
π© You can type your answer from the options above, and feel free to add a few personal words.
Your vulnerability may unlock strength for someone else, too. π
“Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Let’s keep walking yielded — not perfectly, but prayerfully.
Have great day everyone.
Good night, wisdom seekers, and a special one to my Choleric/ melancholic sisters
ReplyDeleteSister Penny and sister Tessie.
It is amazing to say they are related.π
Reading about your Temperament has enlightened me some more on why you act the way you do.
Your boldness, strong, not afraid to speak out or speak up, no going around the bushes, to the point, hard working, set goals and work towards accomplishing them.
However, you can give yourself some slack relax, rest a little while, things are going to get done. Do not overthink or criticize yourself, you are not loved for what you do. You are loved for you.
So embrace who you are and ask the Holy Spirit to lead and direct you every day and stay authentic to who you are, with the Holy Spirit guiding you.
You are loved.
Stay blessed, stay strong.✌πΏππΎ
Good morning fellow wisdom seekers
ReplyDeleteYes the journey has been a great one indeed as I continue to pour myself out to the lord.
As I reflect on my journey this stanza here speaks so much volume of me and thank you Jesus I am a work In progress ,as the theme rightly said it’s
Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord of hosts. — Zechariah 4:6 (NASB)
They are caring and deeply reflective — but often carry silent burdens alone. The Spirit invites them to release the pressure and step into Spirit-led courage.
Now that you’ve seen how your thoughtfulness is a gift and not a weakness, how will you begin to release your silent burdens?
Response : I will begin releasing my fears to God and trusted sisters providing that they will be no judgement..

ReplyDeleteYielded for Transformation
Good Morning my Wisdom Sisters.
What A Week!
It has been Informative as well as Transformative.
It had me praying differently. ❣️
Transformation Question:
Now that you’ve learned to value God’s timing over your own momentum, what will change about how you lead?
B) I want to wait on God, but I need to develop more patience.
Over the past few months, I’ve noticed how impatience I had become as I dealt with some personal issues. I felt as though God was taking a long time to come through, and I was trying to figure things out on my own.
In the middle of everything, without knowing what’s going on, two Sundays ago Sister Penny prayed for me at the altar, and told me God will come through for me, just keep on praising Him.
What would you like the group to pray with you for this week?
A) Pray that I will fully surrender control and stop relying on my own strength.
Please pray with this point in mind. “This blend thrives on action but without yielding, they may charge ahead of God’s timing. Surrender helps them trade control for impact and ego for effectiveness”
Thank You..
Wishing you a Thankful Thursday π
