JUST (WEEK 10) A-Z PRAISES TO GOD

🌿 Week 10 — J

✨ Titus Table Talk: Discovering Another Attribute of God

Warm greetings, dear sisters! 🌸

Welcome to our first Titus Table Talk.

This week, instead of a traditional lesson, you are invited to pull up a chair and join a conversation with Lady Wisdomand the Titus Sisters as they discover another beautiful attribute of God.

As you read, imagine yourself sitting around the table with your Bible open.

Listen to the questions.

Consider your own answers.

Pause when needed.

Reflect deeply.

Pray often.

This study is designed to be experienced, not rushed.

Feel free to spread it over several days (Sunday to Thursday). There is no need to complete everything in one sitting. The goal is not simply to finish the study, but to deepen your understanding of who God is and strengthen your walk with Him.

🌿 Welcome to Titus Table Talk

Lady Wisdom

"Welcome, ladies.

Pull up a chair, open your Bible, and join today's conversation.

As we talk together, don't be afraid to pause, think, pray, and even wrestle with the questions being asked.

Some of the Titus Sisters may ask questions you have wondered about yourself.

Let's learn together."

Before beginning, take a moment to pray and ask the Lord to teach you.

🙏 P — Prayer

Lady Wisdom

"Father, as we study Your Word today, help us understand Your character more clearly.

Teach us to trust You more deeply.

Open our hearts and minds through Your Word.

Help us not only to learn about You, but to know You better.

In Jesus' name, Amen."

📖 R — Read

Deuteronomy 32:4 (KJV)

"He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he."

Genesis 18:25 (KJV)

"Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?"

Psalm 145:17 (KJV)

"The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works."

👀 O — Observe

🌸 Around the Titus Table

Lady Wisdom

Ladies, today we are studying the letter J.

Can anyone guess today's attribute?

Titus Sister #1

Joyful?

Titus Sister #2

Jealous?

Titus Sister #3

Judge?

Titus Sister #4

Jubilee?

Titus Sister #5

Jesus?

Lady Wisdom

Interesting guesses!

Let's look at our scriptures and see if we can discover the answer together.

What words stand out to you?

Titus Sister #1

I noticed the word Rock.

Titus Sister #2

I noticed perfect.

Titus Sister #3

I noticed truth.

Titus Sister #4

I noticed judgment.

Titus Sister #5

I noticed right.

Lady Wisdom

Excellent observations.

What do those words reveal about God?

Titus Sister #6

He is dependable.

Titus Sister #2

He always tells the truth.

Titus Sister #3

He never acts unfairly.

Titus Sister #4

Everything He does is right.

Lady Wisdom

Wonderful observations.

Based on what we've observed, what attribute do you think we are studying?

Titus Sister #2

I keep seeing words like truth, right, righteous, and judgment.

Titus Sister #5

Me too.

Titus Sister #1

Could today's attribute be...

Lady Wisdom

✨ Just

Yes!

Today we are learning that God is Just.

🌿 What Does "Just" Mean?

The primary Hebrew word associated with righteousness and justice is:

Tsaddiq (tsad-DEEK)

Meaning:

  • righteous,

  • upright,

  • fair,

  • lawful,

  • always acting according to what is right.

God is not merely fair by human standards.

He is the standard.

Everything He does is right.

Everything He says is true.

Everything He allows is governed by perfect wisdom and righteousness.

🌿 Selah Moment

Pause here if you wish.

Take a few moments—or even a day—to think about what you have observed.

What stood out to you?

What encouraged you?

What challenged you?

There is no need to complete this study in one sitting.

When you are ready, continue the conversation.

🌸 Stay the course in the Word.

💡 M — Meaning

Titus Sister #1

Lady Wisdom, if God is Just, why do bad things happen?

Titus Sister #2

I've wondered that too.

Lady Wisdom

That is one of the deepest questions believers ask.

Often we struggle because we see only one chapter while God sees the entire story.

His justice operates from eternal wisdom.

We want immediate answers.

God sees the beginning, the middle, and the end.

Titus Sister #3

So God's justice doesn't mean I'll always understand what He is doing?

Lady Wisdom

Exactly.

Trust is not believing God only when we understand Him.

🌸 Teaching Insight

Trust is believing that the God who is Just is doing right even when we cannot yet see it.

Titus Sister #4

Does God's justice mean He always gives us what we deserve?

Lady Wisdom

If God only gave us what we deserved, none of us could stand.

That is where His other attributes become so beautiful.

Because God is:

  • Compassionate

  • Gracious

  • Faithful

  • Benevolent

His justice is perfectly balanced by His mercy.

The cross of Christ is where God's justice and God's grace meet beautifully.

Titus Sister #5

So what does God's justice mean for me personally?

Lady Wisdom

It means:

  • God can be trusted.

  • God never lies.

  • God never makes mistakes.

  • God always does what is right.

  • God sees what others miss.

  • God's decisions are perfect.

  • God's timing is wise.

Even when life feels unfair, God remains Just.

Titus Sister #6

What if I don't agree with what God is allowing in my life?

Lady Wisdom

Then you are standing at the doorway of faith.

Faith is not demanding explanations.

Faith is trusting God's character.

And because God is Just, we can trust Him even when we do not understand Him.

That is a question worth sitting with.

🌿 Around the Titus Table

Before continuing, answer this question:

If God always does what is right, what difference should that make in the way I respond to difficult situations?

Pause.

Reflect.

Pray.

Then continue.

🌿 Selah Moment

Let's pause again.

Is there a situation in your life that you do not fully understand?

Is there an area where you need to trust God's wisdom more deeply?

Take a few moments to pray.

Then continue the study.

🌸 Stay the course in the Word.

🌿 Your Turn

If you were sitting around the Titus table today, what question would you ask Lady Wisdom about God's justice?

You may choose one of the questions asked by the Titus Sisters or share one of your own.

Titus Sister #1

"Lady Wisdom, if God is Just, why do bad things happen?"

Titus Sister #3

"So God's justice doesn't mean I'll always understand what He is doing?"

Titus Sister #4

"Does God's justice mean He always gives us what we deserve?"

Titus Sister #5

"So what does God's justice mean for me personally?"

Titus Sister #6

"What if I don't agree with what God is allowing in my life?"

🙌 P — Praise

Lady Wisdom

Let's each give one reason we praise God for being Just.

Titus Sister #1

I praise Him because He sees everything.

Titus Sister #2

I praise Him because He never lies.

Titus Sister #3

I praise Him because His decisions are always right.

Titus Sister #4

I praise Him because His judgments are perfect.

Titus Sister #5

I praise Him because I can trust Him when life feels unfair.

Titus Sister #6

I praise Him because His wisdom is greater than mine.

Lady Wisdom

Amen.

God's justice is not something to fear when we belong to Him.

It is something to rest in.

🌸 T — Thanksgiving

Lady Wisdom

Ladies, what can we thank God for today?

Titus Sister #1

Thank You for always doing what is right.

Titus Sister #2

Thank You for seeing what we cannot see.

Titus Sister #3

Thank You for being truthful.

Titus Sister #4

Thank You for being fair and righteous.

Titus Sister #5

Thank You that Your ways are perfect.

Titus Sister #6

Thank You that Your wisdom never fails.

All

Thank You, Lord.
