🔄 I’m trying — it’s a daily process
Every day I am asking God for grace to see Him in my behavior. As I mentioned in one post life is so combustible, it can get chaotic easily if you are not careful. Even amidst positivity. I guess am trying to remind myself that I need to stay focus, have a God centered mindset no matter what. Don't allow the things of life to take away the true meaning of being a servant, of being a believer of the most high God. It's a daily process to ensure I am listening to God through His word, the different nurging to take a different route, how to better understand a person so that I can encourage them where there are in their life. It's indeed a daily process for me.

Yes — I’m learning to listen more closely each day, but I want to hear him more clearly .
For me it has become intentional,listening to his voice when he speaks , trying to discern weather the thoughts are mines or his , I am learning to remain silent after I pray and just listen to what comes to mind , like a scripture , the process is just so fulfilling, it’s a daily challenge and I will get it , I saw God work right before my eyes at my job Yesterday and I was just in awwwwww, I told my husband about it , and I said to him why does God love me so much, he replied don’t you love Aden , I said yes but I don’t deserve it , my husband laughed, he said don’t Aden do a whole set of wrong things , but you love him anyway.. 😊

Today’s quote really got me thinking.
"Wisdom whispers, but temptation shouts. Tune your heart to the voice of God, and you will walk in safety."

I hear Him sometimes — but I want to hear Him more clearly.
One of my prayer is to really listen and hear God’s voice, to really know it’s Him speaking to me.
This past week, I was asked “are you able to discern your thoughts from God thoughts” and as if God was testing me, the very night I was asked to bake a cake by a co-worker last minute, I said ok, as she really needed it. However, I was out of cake boxes and I heard in my spirit “you have cellophane wrap, use it” but I was like “no” I’ll get a box in the morning. When I got in to the office next morning, she asked “you baked the cake for me? I ain’t see you give me anything”, I said yes but I need to get a cake box first before giving you, can you imagine what was said after? “Cindy am sure you have that “plastic thing” you does use to wrap thing, why you putting yourself through all that?” Thankfully I had some in the office and wrapped it up with ribbons and she couldn’t have been more happy and at the same time saying “girl you’re so creative”.
I said all this to say, God is always speaking to us but we need to listen closely and recognize when it’s his voice in our lives and not our own.

It’s amazing how when God speaks, He is so consistent with what He is saying to me/us. Over the past few months, I’ve embarked on working on allowing the Spirit of God to change and transform the areas in my life I had left unchecked. In this process, He’s showing me the things I need to work on. Although it is painful, the Lord gave me this illustration yesterday, He said. “Whenever I go to the doctor, and are given a certain medication to take, I might not like it, but it is beneficial for me to take it, if I want to get better.” As a result, as I listen to Him, I need to make the necessary changes He is bringing to me. 🙏

when I am not focus sometimes I get distracted easily. My prayer is that God will help me to remain focus and committed to his word. Some days is easier than other days. But with the help of the Holy Spirit I will overcome, everything takes time and it's a process, God is still working on me .

Being conscious about my daily routines, practices and habbits is truly important.

This is so true that I am getting emotional. I want to hear Him more clearly.
There are time I know it is the Holy Spirit speaking to and I obey immediately.Other times I am not sure, and hesitate. Let me just say when I don’t want to obey Him.😊
I am thankful that He understands my shortcomings and is patient with me.
How I hear Him, when I am prompted to do something I do it trusting that it is the Holy Spirit that is leading me to take actions or to speak. I leave the outcome to Him.

I marvel at the Holy Spirit’s work in my life. How He is transforming me from the inside out. This week while working with my client I started humming a chorus to me it sounded so sweet, that my client asked me what is the name of the song.

I can say I don’t know where it came from, but I know it is the Holy Spirit at work in me that caused me to say such pleasant things to her.
