What does that look like when your neighbour views the world through a sensitive, thoughtful, and emotionally deep lens?
This week in Wisdom Seekers, we’re reflecting on how to love the Melancholic temperament with God’s wisdom. Guided by Proverbs 23, we’ll practice listening, affirming, speaking truth, and reflecting Christ’s love to someone who may not always say what they feel, yet feels what others say very deeply.
These questions will help us slow down, examine our hearts, and grow in intentional, insightful love.

Question No. 5 is what opened my eyes
🌺 When you’re feeling low, what comforts you? How can you meet that same need for a Melancholic this week.
As the scripture said we should love one another as we love ourselves and that’s a simple rule so if only this rule is applied it becomes easy for us to follow , we would think about if we hurt a person how it will affect us , we wouldn’t want to be placed in any uncomfortable situation so we would try to be different , we will help each other up instead of bringing them down .
Happy Monday to all .
Thanks for sharing Sister Alanda. I will add, we must walk in others' shoes to feel what they are feeling.

ReplyDeleteSo many questions to ponder on today but I will settle for the question "Truth in Love."
Truth in love is more important than truth alone. As a choleric, I have to constantly remind myself of that.
Even though melancholics value honesty over flattery, I know that how truth is delivered matters just as much as what is said. That’s why the following question resonates with me:
👉 How can I share truth in a way that builds up rather than wounds?
To those who are melancholic, please know: I’m learning to offer my feedback with gentleness and discretion. Your sensitivity deserves thoughtful, loving communication—and I’m working on it."
Wishing everyone a wonderful day.
Good morning every one

Loving and understanding
When you’re feeling low, what comforts you? How can you meet that same need for a Melancholic this week?
I would remind them they don’t have to be perfect to be loved.
I would let them know that God loves them just as they are, with all of their strengths, weaknesses, and shortcomings. When He looks at you He sees you through the eyes of Jesus. The only perfect One!
Blessings!
