This week may feel heavy in places, but do not miss the mercy of God in the midst of it.
Even when people are inconsistent, God remains faithful.
Even when the story is painful, the Lord is still at work.
Pray simply:
“Lord, help me to see Your faithfulness even in difficult chapters.”
🌿 Weekly Overview
This week takes us through the closing chapters of Judges and into the opening chapters of Ruth. In Judges 9–21, we see the spiritual and moral decline of Israel in sobering detail. These chapters remind us of the danger of living without wholehearted submission to God. Then, in Ruth 1–2, the tone shifts beautifully as we begin to see God’s quiet providence at work in the lives of ordinary people.
In Acts 20–26, Paul continues his ministry journey and then gives his defense before rulers and leaders. Though he faces hardship and accusation, the gospel continues to be proclaimed boldly and clearly.
The Psalms (109–115) include cries for help, declarations of God’s greatness, and heartfelt praise. They remind us to keep looking to the Lord, whose name alone deserves glory.
