PERFECT FEBRUARY PROVERBS - FEBRUARY 22-28

WEEK FOUR (FEBRUARY 22–28)

Welcome to our final week of Perfect February Proverbs.

As we come to February 28, we recognize that we are 59 days into our year-long Bible reading journey. Each day—whether fully completed or partially read—represents a quiet turning of our hearts toward God’s Word. If you are only able to read the selected Proverbs, know that it matters deeply. What is most important is not how much you read, but that you allow God’s wisdom to shape your heart and guide your actions. Wherever you are, simply continue—every step of obedience counts.

Thank you for sticking with Perfect February Proverbs. 🌷

As you move through this final week, we encourage you to gather your Proverbs sentences from all four weeks — whether written as paragraphs or point-form — and set aside a short time to:

  • Slowly reread what you wrote

  • Reflect on any patterns or repeated nudges

  • Spend a few moments in prayer, asking God to help you walk out what He has been showing you

This is not about measuring progress — it is about noticing God’s gentle work in your heart.

REMINDER (Optional)

  • Privately journal one thing God shows you from the Old Testament, New Testament, or Psalms as you read.

NEW (Optional)

  • Beginning with the book of Numbers, feel free to tap the blue link if you’d like to explore a brief study of the Old Testament passages—anytime you feel led. No pressure, just a little help along the way.

🌿 PERFECT FEBRUARY PROVERBS
Scripture Focus: Proverbs 18:10; Proverbs 18:21 (NASB 1995)

Proverbs 18:10 (NASB 1995)
“The name of the LORD is a strong tower;
The righteous runs into it and is safe.”

Proverbs 18:21 (NASB 1995)
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Choose ONE answer that connects most with you (or write your own wording)

God is reminding me that His name is a strong tower, so I will:

  • Run to Him in prayer — choosing to bring my fears, questions, and needs directly to God, trusting that safety and refuge are found in His presence, not in my own strength (Proverbs 18:10).

  • Trust Him in trouble — resting in the assurance that God is my secure place when circumstances feel overwhelming, believing that His name represents His power, faithfulness, and protection (Proverbs 18:10).

  • Speak His name with faith — being mindful that my words carry weight, choosing to speak life, hope, and trust in God rather than fear or despair, knowing that my tongue produces fruit (Proverbs 18:21).

  • Declare life over my situations (optional additional choice) — intentionally using my words to align with God’s truth, confessing trust in Him and allowing my speech to reflect faith instead of doubt (Proverbs 18:21).

Day 54 — February 23

READ: Leviticus 19–20 | Luke 10 | Psalm 54 | Proverbs 19:8; 19:20

“He who gets wisdom loves his own soul;
He who keeps understanding will find good.”

Proverbs 19:20 (NASB 1995)
“Listen to counsel and accept discipline,
That you may be wise the rest of your days.”

Choose ONE answer that connects most with you (or write your own wording)

Listening to wise instruction looks like:

  • Being teachable — maintaining a humble and open heart that values growth, recognizing that receiving wisdom is an act of self-care that leads to good and lasting fruit (Proverbs 19:8).

  • Accepting correction — choosing not to resist discipline or guidance, but embracing it as a gift that shapes character and leads to lifelong wisdom (Proverbs 19:20).

  • Seeking counsel — intentionally inviting godly voices into my decisions, understanding that wisdom is strengthened when I listen before I act (Proverbs 19:20).

Day 55 — February 24

READ: Leviticus 21–22 | Luke 11 | Psalm 55 | Proverbs 20:22; 20:24

📖 OT – God sets standards for those who serve Him.
✨ NT – Jesus invites the weary to come to Him.

🌿 PERFECT FEBRUARY PROVERBS

Scripture Focus: Proverbs 20:22; Proverbs 20:24 (NASB 1995)

Proverbs 20:22 (NASB 1995)
“Do not say, ‘I will repay evil’;
Wait for the LORD, and He will save you.”

Proverbs 20:24 (NASB 1995)
“Man’s steps are ordained by the LORD,
How then can man understand his way?”

Choose ONE answer that connects most with you (or write your own wording)

When I am tempted to rush ahead, I will:

  • Wait on the Lord — choosing restraint instead of reaction, trusting that God’s deliverance and direction come as I patiently rely on Him rather than acting in haste (Proverbs 20:22).

  • Trust His timing — believing that my steps are ordered by the Lord, even when the path is unclear, and resting in the truth that God sees what I cannot (Proverbs 20:24).

  • Pray instead — turning urgency into dependence by bringing my concerns before God, allowing prayer to slow my spirit and realign my heart with His will (Proverbs 20:22).

  • Submit my steps to God — acknowledging that I do not always understand the way forward, but choosing to walk humbly under God’s guidance, one step at a time (Proverbs 20:24).

Day 56 — February 25

READ: Leviticus 23–24 | Luke 12 | Psalm 56 | Proverbs 21:2; 21:5

“The plans of the diligent lead surely to advantage,
But everyone who is hasty comes surely to poverty.”

Choose ONE answer that connects most with you

(or write your own wording)

  • Invite God to examine my heart — pausing to ask the Lord to search my motives and align my desires with His truth, remembering that He weighs what lies beneath my actions (Proverbs 21:2).

  • Plan with diligence, not haste — choosing steady, prayerful planning over rushing ahead, trusting that faithfulness and consistency lead to lasting good (Proverbs 21:5).

  • Submit my ways to God’s wisdom — acknowledging that what seems right to me still needs God’s loving correction and guidance (Proverbs 21:2).

  • Move forward thoughtfully — committing my plans to careful preparation and patience, believing that God honors diligence and warns against hurried decisions (Proverbs 21:5).

Day 57 — February 26

READ: Leviticus 25–26 | Luke 13 | Psalm 57 | Proverbs 22:6; 22:24–25

📖 OT – God outlines blessings for obedience.
✨ NT – Jesus teaches in parables.
🙏 Psalm – A prayer for mercy.

🌿 PERFECT FEBRUARY PROVERBS

Scripture Focus: Proverbs 22:6; Proverbs 22:24–25 (NASB 1995)

Even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

  • By my words — speaking with wisdom and restraint, understanding that words shape attitudes and behaviors, and choosing speech that guides rather than provokes (Proverbs 22:24–25).

  • By my attitude — cultivating a spirit marked by patience and self-control, recognizing that attitudes are contagious and can either lead others toward wisdom or into harmful patterns (Proverbs 22:24–25).

  9. Good day Ladies,

To God be all the glory!

We have completed Perfect February Proverbs together, and I truly trust that this journey has been a blessing to you. As you read, reflected, and chose your Proverbs sentences, my prayer is that the Word of God has gently but firmly shaped your heart and strengthened your walk.

Continue to allow God’s Word to do its quiet, faithful work in you—day by day—as you take it in, sit with it, and live it out.

Here are my sentences from this journey:

God is reminding me that His name is a strong tower, so I will run to Him in prayer — choosing to bring my fears, questions, and needs directly to God, trusting that safety and refuge are found in His presence, not in my own strength (Proverbs 18:10).

Listening to wise instruction looks like seeking counsel — intentionally inviting godly voices into my decisions, understanding that wisdom is strengthened when I listen before I act (Proverbs 19:20).

When I am tempted to rush ahead, I will wait on the Lord — choosing restraint instead of reaction, trusting that God’s deliverance and direction come as I patiently rely on Him rather than acting in haste (Proverbs 20:22).

God is shaping my heart and plans, so I will submit my ways to God’s wisdom — acknowledging that what seems right to me still needs God’s loving correction and guidance (Proverbs 21:2).

One way I can influence others for good is by my attitude — cultivating a spirit marked by patience and self-control, recognizing that attitudes are contagious and can either lead others toward wisdom or into harmful patterns (Proverbs 22:24–25).

God is teaching me to guard my desires by living with eternal perspective — fixing my hope on God’s promises rather than immediate outcomes, confident that faithfulness today leads to lasting reward (Proverbs 23:18).

Even when I stumble, I will allow God to rebuild and strengthen me — trusting that each step of obedience adds depth and stability to my life, filling it with what is precious and lasting (Proverbs 24:3–4).

This exercise truly reset something within me, and I sincerely hope it did the same for you. Let us stay the course—anchored, steady, and growing—in the Word of God.

Thank you once again for sharing your weekly sentences and for walking this journey together.

See you tomorrow, God willing, as we step into the beginning of March.

    Have a great weekend!

  11. Goodnight ladies,

Here are my repossess based on the passages this week:

God is reminding me that His name is a strong tower, so I will:
    * Trust Him in trouble — resting in the assurance that God is my secure place when circumstances feel overwhelming, believing that His name represents His power, faithfulness, and protection (Proverbs 18:10).
    * Speak His name with faith — being mindful that my words carry weight, choosing to speak life, hope, and trust in God rather than fear or despair, knowing that my tongue produces fruit (Proverbs 18:21).

Listening to wise instruction looks like:
    * Being teachable — maintaining a humble and open heart that values growth, recognizing that receiving wisdom is an act of self-care that leads to good and lasting fruit (Proverbs 19:8).
    * Accepting correction — choosing not to resist discipline or guidance, but embracing it as a gift that shapes character and leads to lifelong wisdom (Proverbs 19:20).

When I am tempted to rush ahead, I will:
    * Trust His timing — believing that my steps are ordered by the Lord, even when the path is unclear, and resting in the truth that God sees what I cannot (Proverbs 20:24).
    * Submit my steps to God — acknowledging that I do not always understand the way forward, but choosing to walk humbly under God’s guidance, one step at a time (Proverbs 20:24).

God is shaping my heart and plans, so I will:
    * Submit my ways to God’s wisdom — acknowledging that what seems right to me still needs God’s loving correction and guidance (Proverbs 21:2).
    * Move forward thoughtfully — committing my plans to careful preparation and patience, believing that God honors diligence and warns against hurried decisions (Proverbs 21:5).

One way I can influence others for good is:
    * By my example — living out godly values consistently, knowing that what I model leaves a lasting impression and quietly trains others in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6).
    * By choosing healthy influences — being mindful of the environments and relationships I keep, knowing that who I walk with affects who I become and how I impact others (Proverbs 22:24–25).

God is teaching me to guard my desires by:
    * Avoiding comparison — resisting envy and the temptation to measure my life against others, trusting that God’s promises and purposes for me are secure (Proverbs 23:17).
    * Living with eternal perspective — fixing my hope on God’s promises rather than immediate outcomes, confident that faithfulness today leads to lasting reward (Proverbs 23:18).

Even when I stumble, I will:
    * Trust God’s grace — resting in the truth that falling does not disqualify me, because God’s grace empowers me to rise again and continue forward (Proverbs 24:16).

I hope you all have a restful sleep!
